Solvay H2O2 can help you for cyanide destruction
The new “cyanide management code” proposed by the UN and accepted by the EU has been adopted by the major gold mining companies and financial institutions, it requires that cyanide in tailings ponds should not exceed 50 ppm CN- . EU proposes that this should be reduced to 10 ppm within a few years.

There is a range of cyanide chemical forms including free, weak acid dissociable (WAD), complexed and strongly bound.
Cyanide destruction can be carried out using hydrogen peroxide (link to products) or Caro’s acid (link to products), the choice depending on the type of material to be treated.
